The elementary paddle for entry into packrafting! It is made of combined aluminium shaft and asymetric polypropylen blades, including drip rings. The 4 part segments make transport easy.
Surprisingly light, fairly robust, but it accespts a tolerance in the ferrules, resulting in some rattle after long time use. This is not affecting its use or longevity however. Isolation on grip prevents cold hands at lower temperatures on the aluminium.
If the snap buttons are too stiff when new, you can simply bend them for ease of operation. Over a good value option. We also use it in our rental fleet for example.
Note
A paddle leash (add on) is only recommended for open water and currents without any class of white water, as well as for securing the paddle when landing and pausing.
