Sometimes you need to go classic. The GP Classic has its strength in whitewater, but it is compact enough to be travel-friendly. Combined tours on land and water are a joy with it. It is a full-featured, universal packraft.
Features The proven basic shape with the packraft-typical stretched stern and tapered geometry makes the boat agile and maneuverable, but keeps it comfortable and safe. The high-drawn bow climbs over waves and rides through larger stoppers. If you like splash and dynamic paddling then you'll have fun with it.
SpraydeckThe closed, classic spraydeck like on a kayak is absolutely tight, very reliable to close as well as quick and safe to open. The skirt is attached over the coaming (plastic tube), but otherwise remains on the body (with the chimney). The spraycover is sufficiently large and can also be left open.
Thigh straps (optional)Recommended for handling the boat are the ergonomic 5-point thigh straps. This makes the boat easy to edge and steer. In case of a capsize you can get out easily. The straps are removable so they form an optional advanced equipment. The boat can also be paddled without thigh straps without any problems.
Other featuresThe Packraft has two carrying handles and 8 loops to attach luggage, e.g. a
DeckPack. In addition it has an integrated mount for a removable fin, which increases the directional stability and thus increases the efficiency of paddling.
UseTo inflate the boat, the supplied nylon bag (inflation bag) is used, just like with other models. The residual pressure is done by mouth which is basically sufficient. When using a
hand pump watch out for overpressure (e.g. in the sun).
In the (unlikely) event of damage, we recommend the
Anfibio LifePatch. This allows repairs in the field within a few minutes. Small perforations can also be sealed with small amounts of
Aquasure.
