Can packrafting be reinvented? With the Anfibio Rebel 2K it might be so. Highly portable and just as versatile as reliable, this boat is built around the core characteristics of a packraft. Stowed away, the Rebel 2K takes no more space than a 2-litre water bottle, and yet has all the features needed for your adventures.
- voluminous stern and pronounced bow (52 cm each) provide ample buoyancy
- balanced tube diameter (27 cm) for a dynamic response
- comfortable inner width (37 cm) and a generous foot space
- J-shaped opening for ergonomic handling and reliable closure
- the zipper-velcro combination is fast, safe and comfortable to use
- the long chimney offers freedom of movement and good coverage
- very light, no loose parts to mess with
- sealed seams and a nicely taught cover
- easily re-configurable as an open boot
- the transport capacity of the boat is considerably increased
- luggage is automatically positioned correctly and secured against slipping
- the transport inside the tubes ensures a low centre of gravity,
- protection against moisture and wind compared to exterior bags

Anfibio REBEL 2K - the Most Versatile Packraft?
Review and Analysis of the Anfibio Rebel 2K packraft (Maciej Besta)

First impression, Testing and Trip report n the river Wye (Chris Scott)
"Just pre-packing the 2K. I am liking the HUGE pockets - much bigger than the proto 2K last year, I think. Will be easy to get everything in there + a deck bag for daytime. Then when you pump up it’s all pressure sealed in place; no need for straps. Plus no direct to hull zip means it’s cleverer than I thought.
As it happens I noticed very little yawing - so length is not so critical for this like I thought. Or maybe the bow ‘bite' so well. Who knows but rebel shape is fine."
