Design & Adjustability
The maximum length of 240 cm is specifically designed for the wider shape of packrafts and enables an ergonomic, energy-efficient paddling style. At the same time, the paddle can be flexibly adjusted from 220 to 240 cm in 4-cm steps thanks to the five-step snap-button adjustment.
For shorter, more maneuverable boats, a shorter setting is recommended to keep the paddle closer to the boat and improve straight-line stability. For longer boats, especially those with a fin, the maximum length ensures an efficient, continuous paddle stroke.
The five-piece construction allows for a compact pack size despite the maximum length.
Furthermore, the angle between the paddle blades can be adjusted to three different positions, and the standard drop rings provide additional comfort.
Material & Use
The Anfibio AquaTrail is designed for touring. Its wide range of length adjustments really comes into its own on longer trips, allowing for a relaxed, steady paddling rhythm. The large, fiberglass-reinforced blades provide excellent propulsive power.
The wrapped fiberglass shaft feels comfortable even in colder temperatures and offers a good balance of weight, stability, and comfort.
