The Anfibio Buddy expands our packing series with a large hip or bum bag. As big brother of the Anfibio MobilPack, it closes the gap between the Anfibio DeckPack (bow/stern/shoulder bag) and the Anfibio Companion (daypack). Like the other, the Anfibio Buddy provides reliable protection against water, dust, and unauthorized access. Especially when separated from your main luggage (drifted boat, lost backpack, inaccessible suitcase), wearing it directly on your body provides security for personal valuables.

Practical: With a capacity of 5 liters, the zippered Buddy offers enough room for all kind of (emergency) things such as a repair and first aid kit, rescue equipment, keys, mobile phone, passport, money, GPS, binoculars or snacks. For paddlers, a throw line bag or a tow line will stay handy and - if unused - dry (anyone who has ever had to dry an unused throw line after paddling will appreciate this).

Safe: If you go into the water on purpose or by accident, the content of your Buddy remains 100% dry and safely stored on your body. This is also very helpful in rain, sand, and splashy water!

Versatile: Whether you're cycling, hiking, packrafting or on your SUP, having the Buddy below your life jacket, in front of your backpack, on your lab, belly or bum, or wearing it over your shoulder in the city - the hip bag can be quickly and easily adjusted for all activities and different people.

Use
Wherever it can rough, harsh, or unsafe the Anfibio Buddy really comes into its own! This ranges from heavy rain showers in the city, triathlon competitions and wild swimming to packrafting adventures on your doorstep and in isolated regions. Thanks to the waterproofness up to 1 meter under water (IPX7), the equipment in the hip bag always stays dry.
If you are out and about on rivers and in white water, the hip bag also becomes an important safety accessory in which essential items (such as throw line, mobile phone, first aid and repair kits) have a defined place directly on your body. This means that these items are ready to hand in an emergency, even if the boat drifts away or becomes inaccessible.
Further applications
The Buddy is not only a faithful companion for all common water sports such as packrafting, SUP, sailing, wild swimming, kayaking, or rowing. The hip bag also quickly becomes irreplaceable for other (outdoor) activities, such as motorbike tours, fishing, trail running or when travelling in humid, such as tropical regions.
Care with lubricant
To keep the zipper of the bag operating smoothly and to increase its lifetime, we recommend treating it occasionally with silicone grease.
Remove any remaining grease with a cloth to prevent dirt particles from sticking to the teeth. This could lead to leakage.
Material
Like our boats, the material of the hip bag is made of TPU-coated nylon. This makes the Anfibio Buddy particularly light and extremely robust at the same time.
