This is our recommendation for packrafting footwear thanks to a warm, non-absorbent material, very light weight and quick draining. With an aggressive tread and the protection of a secure toe box, the Crocs Classic All-Terrain Clog shoes are suited to moderate trails, wading and river scouting.
TheAll-Terrain Clog version of the classic Crocs are made from rugged material which withstands sharp rocks and dirt and feature a pivoting heel strap to securely clamp the shoe to your feet. Pivot forward to make a slip-on camp shoe. Swing back over the heel for a secure, all-terrain fit.

Please note
For longer multi-day treks including walking with heavy loads and/or scouting real whitewater sections with very steep, rocky terrain you’ll need something sturdier (Trailrunner or special Rivershoes). Hold within the Crocs resp. to the feet is too limited for that scenario. Still, the Crocs make perfect second shoe as described above.
